Renee Scherzer has spent nearly three decades leading in every arena that matters—business, family, industry, and community. A seasoned Retirement Specialist, she built a 25+ year career helping individuals secure their future while guiding organizations to strengthen teams through benefits that protected both people and compliance. Alongside her practice, she served a decade on the board of the National Association of Plan Advisors, including as President, shaping policy and mentoring the next generation with a steady, principled voice.
But Renee’s leadership extends far beyond the financial sector. For more than 30 years she has volunteered with organizations serving children in crisis, women overcoming domestic violence, families facing homelessness, and communities confronting cancer and trafficking. Whether advocating for women in leadership, co-chairing major fundraising galas, or organizing grassroots drives, she has always led with both conviction and compassion.
Through raising three young adults and serving countless others, Renee discovered what most high achievers eventually confront: titles, tactics, and full calendars don’t always add up to meaning. Out of her lived experience she created The Light Work Method, a framework that reconnects leaders to stillness, clarity, and purpose. When leaders shift at the source—their inner life—their presence naturally elevates teams, strengthens families, and contributes to a more connected world.
Today, Renee brings this lived model of leadership to stages, workshops, and retreats, guiding leaders to live and lead from the light within—so their work feels lighter, and their legacy enlightens generations to come.
